BIBLE CURRICULUM
At PCA we use the Encounter Bible curriculum. This program uses the Bible as the textbook and Jesus as the Guide for transforming students’ relationship with Him. The key goal of the Encounter curriculum is to aid Adventist teachers to bring our children to the feet of Jesus.
Our Bible curriculum is designed to provide our students the opportunity to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. Palisades Christian Academy is dedicated to our students having a strong foundation in the Word of God. All of our students, from every grade level, memorize Bible scriptures and they are encouraged to apply learned Biblical principles in their everyday life experiences.
Students in each grade level are exposed to a curriculum designed for elementary students. The Biblical lessons encompass a study of life applications from Genesis to Revelation. Our Bible curriculum is developed to ensure the Christian tenets of our faith are taught throughout the student’s learning experience.

5th Grade
Fruit of the Spirit highlights the ten fruits of the Spirit through the lessons from the Old Testament and New Testament stories. Additional historical and contemporary narratives also connect the principles of Galatians 5: 22 – 23. Students study the character traits and gifts God idealizes for His children.

Mrs. Brown has been teaching in Adventist schools since graduating from Walla Walla University in 1993. She has a Master’s degree in Reading Education from Andrews University, and is passionate about teaching language arts to middle-school students.
